La Ravoire is a lovely little parc with genuine charm and excellent facilities. The pool complex offers both family and children’s pools and a waterslide; yet it is the mountains crowding in on Annecy and the azure waters of the lake that make it so special. La Ravoire is close to the southern tip of the lake and while the shore is close to the parc, beaches are just a short drive away for swimming and watersports. At the head of the lake, the little town of Annecy itself is utterly delightful and its 15th century centre has been beautifully preserved. While if you wish to explore the many alpine delights of the region, you really are ideally placed here.
