For over twenty five years La Pointe St-Gilles has been a firm favourite with Keycamp families. With an enviable location across a quiet road from a pine fringed sandy beach, it is only a fifteen minute walk away from Bénodet town. There is a spacious bar that overlooks the waterpark. The facilities include an open-air fitness course, jacuzzi, and family entertainment is organised during July and August. This site is especially popular with families that have younger children. Campsite rules are strictly enforced.
The site will boast a completely new reception, bar and aquapark with covered pool in 2008. Some pools will be open from 23/5, all facilities will be open by 15/6.
Just a short walk along the coast takes you to the wide bay of Bénodet with its cafés, crêperies, excellent seafood restaurants and sandy beaches. Take a boat trip up the beautiful Odet river to the bustling historic town of Quimper with its 13th century cathedral or visit the old walled town of Concarneau, a short drive away.
